If you are a client in a construction project taking place onshore in Norway, or represent the client as a client’s representative, project manager or a coordinator, it’s necessary to know all about this Regulations. All employers and project supervisors are also obligated to have this knowledge.
According to: Council Directive 92/57/EEC of 24 June 1992 on the implementation of minimum safety and health requirements at temporary or mobile construction sites (eighth individual Directive within the meaning of Article 16 (1) of Directive 89/391/EEC).
The Norwegian authorities published special Acts and Regulations to implement this Council Directive in 1995. From the 1st of January 2010 a new version of the Regulation was published, however this is not available in English.
